[Rise Against]

Yeah..

Everyone seems to be very generous here when it comes to reviewing this because it is a Rise Against song, myself included. And don't get me wrong, they ROCK! But, let's focus on the animation.

Now, what you have here is a short intro for the song, followed by what is basically a picture. I am glad you chose a awesome song, but all this basically is is getting to hear a good song. All the people watching this are seeing a man, standing there (very obviously not making any movements to play the guitar) and his lips moving in a very strange and spastic way.

I read your response to review not too far below mine, and although you aren't neccesarily asking me for ideas... I think you should do one for Roadside (also by Rise Against). Or any other Rise Against song for that matter. Look, I had been searching for a good animation for a Rise Against song, please dont leave me with this. I am thirsty for a good Rise Against animation and I have faith you could do it.

If you do in fact decide to do Roadside, I imagine a man looking around at the world around him, somewhat upset at what he sees. He stands by a dirt road and sings. Just spitballin.

Please, please make another Rise Against animation!

I think the newgrounds community was in dire need of a submission like this. Not only because of it's serious content, but it reminds us what occured in that horrible time in history. So that we may try and prevent it from occuring again. Though, it seems we're failing to that extent if you look at how we try to ignore Darfur. Maybe you could do another flash that has to do with the current tragedy in Darfur?

Anyhow, good job. And thank you.

[The Anger of Animation]

Good

This is a pretty good animation. However, I do not agree that it is as creative as people said, because you said yourself the idea was from Animator vs. Animation. Plus you did things almost the same as things were done in Animator vs. Animation. For example he brok out of the flash creator ond onto the desktop by breaking a panel on the flsh creator. Things that were done just like they were in Animator vs. Animation could have been done in a different way to give it more originality.
It is a good remake of that classic animation though, Im just trying to give it constructive criticism for you to build on.

[Animator vs. Animation II]

Again I Say, Brilliant

As good, if not better than the first. The story flowed much better, and the ending was not as abrupt as the ending in the first. My only complaint is that it didn't last longer.

Simply Brilliant

It is such a basic idea I am suprsed nobody else has thought of it. The mere concept of an animation fighting back against the animator, brilliant. It is what will come to be known for ever more as a classic. I congratulate you on one amazing flash.

Good, and by the way I am fairly certain everyone reads the author comments, especially when you say we dont.

I am still going to say that voice acting could be better. Face it, it is what the series had been lacking all along. It sounds as if those doing the voice acting were making fun of their own voices! If that makes any sense. I hope you understand what I am saying though.

However, I do agree this one seems better than the rest, so I congragulate you.

[Arrogancy: Chapter Two]

Ow!

You'd think after what seems like 3 minutes of punching the robo dude he'd realize it's not doing anything, lol.

Anyway, I know you plan on explaining why Arrogancy talks the way he does (haven't seen ep. 3 yet), but honestly I can't see any reason being good enough.
In my opinion none of the voices really match the characters, Arrogancy sounds like Cleveland in the show family guy which is extremely wierd. The best parts in this show is when the characters dont talk, which is pretty bad considering they talk like every second.

I'm only saying this because i think this series has had and will continue to have potential, but it is not being realized with the current voice acting.

The world went crazy when this wasn't instantly blammed. Sorry, but the graphics need soooo much work, the dialoge wasn't that great (an example of this is the awkward line I took a bit of for the title of this post), and the story line was sketchy.
I could tell you put effort into it put it was so slow and poorly drawn I could barely keep myself watching it. Bottom line: needs work, and this goes for the rest of this series as well. I only gave you a three because you tried.

And on another note, was the guy who yelled that the other dude didn't pay raising his pinkie? Random much?

[Modern myth polyphemus]

Cool

I like the way you made a modern day myth. But at the same time it was kind of odd.
For one, when the wind blew the one-eyed guy's hair it looked like his hair was some sort of animal on his face that moved. Creepy. Also it is kind of weird to have a modern day cyclops, I know thats what the myth said ocurred but honestly I don't think school kids would randomly beat him up just because of it. I mean sure, they might shun him, but just out of nowhere decide to beat him up?

These things aside, it is an okay animation and a good modern day take on a myth.
